The Lion House part 2

As I ran toward her I thought “What am I doing!”  I wanted to stop but I felt like something was pulling me¸ it was like the whole forest was whispering

Go go go . Mom was disappearing into a tree again, she didn’t have to doge obstacles like logs or puddles. Suddenly my eye sight was sharper, I didn’t have to peer through the heavy fog to see her. And I was gaining.as I looked down at my shoes going thud thud  in the wet grass I saw the outline of golden cat paws on my black flats! I shrieked and fell back, landing with a squelch in some mud. I tried to calm myself down “It was just your imagination Emily” I said. Then I started laughing. I was chasing a tornado with my mom’s face and telling myself it was my imagination!
just then I realized I ran out of a funeral. I slapped my forehead "what's dad going to think?" I didn't have time to worry any more because two kids, about my age stepped  out of nowhere. literally  they appeared from thin air. I had no time to proses all of this, I blacked out. Next thing I knew they were leaning over me. The girl, who looked like she came out of a fashion magazine (with the thing I’d seen today it wouldn’t be unlikely) “Who’s she?” the girl squeaked. The guy, who was wearing glasses and was fiddling with a flash drive, said “ I-I don’t  know w-we should  take her back Patty” “She’s in the clothes of honor” Patty pointed out ,  sure enough, I had on a sleeveless white dress and brown sandals, like the ones in history class. “Leave me alone!” I shouted. the boy muttered “Fox? No. wolf? Maybe. Bear? Wouldn’t be surprised.” For some reason that calmed me down. “Who are you?” I asked, he just stared “Aaron tell her” Patty squealed “Orens” I sat up “ What?”  Patty tugged at my arm “Come on we will show you” she said   “Wait”   I never got to finish my sentence.
